The storm outside my window is one of the WORST I have ever seen lol.. The roads are white, the thunder is deafening and the kahraba keeps going off :P Usually I hate this weather, it depresses me, but I guess that's only when I know I have to go out into it. Yesterday, I went to watch a little show Mashrou3 Leila were putting on at this very nice little store in Hamra that makes all kinds of handmade accessories, clothes, silver jewelery, incense, leather goods etc. It was the first time I go to this kind of thing alone, but after walking all the way to LAU alone the previous night to watch a play (also alone), it didn't feel so intimidating. I was never used to doing these kinds of things alone, or even venturing past Bliss Street without a friend, but this month has been quite a wake-up call for me in several ways, and I can say without a doubt that I am not the same person I was a month ago.
